2. Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts

A lot of the Indianapolis Colts’ success in 2020 will be predicated on the production Philip Rivers can manage to provide. That is precisely the type of opportunity a player looking to have a bounce-back season could ever want.

Perhaps the main issue Rivers faced with the Los Angeles Chargers last season was the team’s inadequate offensive line. That will not be the case with the Colts. In fact, they arguably have the best offensive line group in the NFL with Quenton Nelson setting the tone.

There is plenty of talent around Rivers in the Colts’ offense as well. With T.Y. Hilton as the No. 1 receiver with Michael Pittman Jr., Parris Campbell, and Zach Pascal as complements. The backfield has an intriguing one-two punch with Marlon Mack and Jonathan Taylor.

There is already previous familiarity with Rivers from head coach Frank Reich and offensive Nick Sirianni from their time with the Chargers organization. That adds to the quality of the opportunity considering the strange circumstances Covid-19 has caused.
