Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
There isn’t an easier choice for the top spot than the reigning league MVP, Lamar Jackson. While it’s certainly a possibility for his incredible 2019 production to regress a bit during the upcoming season, he will still be elite.
The degree of impact Jackson provided the Ravens was nothing short of spectacular. He averaged a league-best 6.9 yards per carry while posting a 9.0% touchdown percentage, which also led all quarterbacks in the NFL.
The totals Jackson registered in 15 games last season was naturally impressive considering his incredible efficiency, leading the Ravens to a 13-2 record. He completed 265 of his 401 pass attempts (66.1% completion rate), 3,127 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions.
The pure passing production Jackson had was impressive in itself but adding 1,206 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground makes it all the more intriguing. He is expected to rely more on passing in 2020 but still expect strong rushing results, regardless.
