NFL: Ranking the starting QBs in the AFC West in 2020

One of the more intriguing divisions in the NFL for the quarterback position is the AFC West heading into the 2020 season. The Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Chargers each have intriguing talent, but how do they stack up with one another?

There is also intrigue when it comes to the Super Bowl champions and whether or not they will be able to repeat. For Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, they appear as well-positioned as anyone to accomplish precisely that.

As for other the other quarterbacks in the AFC West like Derek Carr, Drew Lock, and Tyrod Taylor, they each have more to prove during the upcoming season. Some have more intrigue than others, but results are needed from each, nevertheless.

Some additional intrigue to consider, the Chargers could make a change at quarterback at some point during the upcoming season after selecting Justin Herbert in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Oregon standout was left off this list since he will start out on the bench.
