NFL: Ranking the top 7 playmakers in the league entering 2020

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliott has been a prime example of consistency since he came into the league. While he hasn’t reached the 1,600-yard mark since his rookie season, he has led the league in rushing yards twice now. Last season he finished fourth while averaging 4.5 yards per carry.

While some detract from Elliot’s accomplishments because of the Cowboys’ offensive line, they aren’t the undisputed best unit in the league anymore. He might not be the best power back in the NFL, he isn’t the shiftiest back in the NFL, he isn’t the best receiving back, but he is excellent at every aspect. With someone so consistent, it is impossible to leave him off the list.

Coming into 2020, expect Elliott to once again be in the race for the rushing title. When the Cowboys feed Zeke, the Cowboys win games and that is what makes him so special. With even more weapons on the outside, he will have even more room to run. It may be one of his best seasons to date.
