Saquon Barkley, New York Giants
Saquon Barkley is honestly a freak of nature. That is all that really needs to be said, but there is certainly more detail to discuss. He is 233 lbs but still one of the most elusive backs in the NFL. There is a reason the Giants picked him No. 2 overall a few years ago and he has amazing speed but complements that with incredible strength.
While Barkley’s numbers weren’t jaw-dropping last year, he missed three games due to injury. He still managed to rush over 1,000 yards and did so by finding his form towards the end of the season. Not only is he a great runner, but Barkley is also one of the best receiving backs in the NFL. He is a threat to score on every play. The Giants’ offensive line is average, but drafting offensive tackle Andrew Thomas should help open running lanes for Barkley.
Barkley truly is the type of player who can produce at least one highlight a game. The New York Giants are a team that is a bit of an underdog going into 2020. They will surprise a lot of people with how well they play and the man leading them will be one of the league’s best playmakers, Saquan Barkley.
