3. New York Giants
Notable WRs: Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, Cody Core, Corey Coleman, Binjimen Victor
Similar to Washington, the Giants are heading into this season with a second-year quarterback manning the offense. Also, while Darius Slayton proved himself as a rookie like McLaurin, New York has more reliable weapons than Washington at wide receiver. Though, it’s important to note that Slayton isn’t quite on the same level as McLaurin yet.
Beside Slayton, the Giants still have Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard at their disposal. Even with him missing six games last season, Shepard led the team in receptions with 57. At the same time, Slayton led the Giants in receiving, catching 48 passes for 740 yards and eight touchdowns.
All in all, New York had three wide receivers contribute 48+ receptions, 570+ yards, and three or more touchdowns in 2019. If the Giants can remain healthy at wide receiver — mostly Shepard — then they could have a sneaky good group of wide receivers in the NFC East this season.
