NFL: Ranking the wide receiver rooms in the NFC East entering 2020

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

1. Dallas Cowboys

Notable WRs: Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, Devin Smith, Noah Brown, Cedrick Wilson

Once again, the Cowboys receiving corps needs no introduction entering the 2020 season. When Dallas had Cooper and Gallup last season, they had one of the best pass-catching duos in the NFL. And now with Lamb joining the fray, the Cowboys have a truly special receiving room for Dak Prescott to target.

Unlike the other teams in the NFC East, Dallas had at least one 1,000-yard receiver, with Cooper and Gallup eclipsing 1,000 yards a season ago. Lamb, who averaged 21.4 yards per reception at Oklahoma in 2019 (third-most in the NCAA), gives the Cowboys someone that is lethal with the ball in his hands.

Compared to other teams in the NFL, Cowboys rank near the top in talent at the wide receiver position. Regardless of who they have outside of Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb, Dallas easily has the best receiving corps that the NFC East — and possibly the NFL — has to offer in 2020.
