The Houston Texans made the decision to fire former coach Dave Culley after his first season in the role. They are among the eight NFL teams currently with head coach vacancies.
After a disappointing 4-13 finish to the 2021 NFL season, it became apparent the Texans need to make some changes to their roster and perhaps in other part of the organization.
“I enjoyed every minute of it,” Culley said, via Texans Wire. “I learned a lot, a lot of things, as I said before earlier, in that coaching manual I had to go through things that weren’t in there, but that’s okay. I was told that was going to happen. But again, from start to finish, each game was different.”
There will be a variety of intriguing options just from the group of coaches that were fired from other roles. There’s one, in particular, that apparently has the Texans’ attention.
