The Buffalo Bills have been pegged as favorites to land Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams in the event of a trade, and an NFL scout has told the NFL Analysis Network why the Bills are in fact the the best landing spot for the superstar.

“I think the Bills are by far the best potential suitor for Davante Adams,” the scout said. “That offense is one piece away from being unstoppable. If he becomes available, trading for him could win a Super Bowl for Buffalo.”

The Bills have an impressive duo of wide receivers in Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, but beyond those two, quarterback Josh Allen does not have a whole lot of weapons to utilize in the aerial attack.

Buffalo’s lack of receiving depth has been notable at certain points this season, most particularly over the past couple of weeks when the Bills have scored just 34 points over two games. Last Sunday, Buffalo had to hang on by the skin of its teeth for a 14-9 win over the depleted New York Giants.

So, if Adams does indeed become available, the Bills absolutely make sense as a destination.

Adams recently criticized his team for the second time this season, expressing displeasure with his role after amassing just six catches on nine targets over the Raiders’ last two games.

Earlier in the season, the 30-year-old lambasted Las Vegas’ organizational culture and said that he does not have time to just wait around.

The Raiders acquired Adams in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers in March 2022. They went just 6-11 in his first season with the club, and through three games this year, they are 3-3.

Of course, Adams is under contract through 2026, so Las Vegas does not have to be in any rush to move him. The chances of him being dealt between now and the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline seem very slim.
