NFL Scout Makes Wild Prediction For Packers After Week 4

The Green Bay Packers surprised a lot of people over their first three games, going 2-1 and putting together an impressive come-from-behind victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.

However, the Packers stumbled when faced with what many would consider their first real test last Thursday, as they fell to the Detroit Lions by a score of 34-20.

Green Bay was never that competitive in the loss, and it fell out of a first-place tie with the Lions in the NFC North as a result.

While the defeat may have looked like a red flag, an NFL scout tells the NFL Analysis Network that he actually thinks the loss may rev the Packers up.

“The loss to the Lions will be a wakeup call,” the scout said. “They’re going to go on a run. I think they’ll win five straight.”

Looking at their upcoming schedule, a winning streak is entirely possible.

Green Bay will head on the road to battle the Las Vegas Raiders next Monday before taking on the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers in the succeeding four games.

The Packers will also have their bye week in between the Raiders and Broncos matchups.

The combined record of Green Bay’s next five opponents is just 7-13, with the first three opponents being just 3-9 in total.

While the Packers are hardly world-beaters at the current point in time, it does not seem impossible for Jordan Love and Co. to reel off a string of victories over the next month-plus.

Green Bay is looking to make it back to the playoffs after failing to qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2018 last year. The club is in its first season without Aaron Rodgers under center, and while the early returns have been mixed, Love has certainly provided Packers fans with some hope moving forward.
