This Cowboys-Vikings trade would send Anthony Harris to Dallas

Rationale for Dallas Cowboys

It has been a terrible start to the season for the Dallas Cowboys’ defense. There are no shortage of holes throughout the unit and the secondary is certainly among those concerns.

Acquiring one player would not provide an overnight turnaround for the Cowboys. However, reinforcing a weakness on the backend of the defense with Anthony Harris would go a long way in cutting down on broken coverages.

The Cowboys have a very winnable division with the NFC East being so bad. Making a move to patch up a hole on defense could help make a necessary push for Dallas to actually finish first this season.

Until the Cowboys make a move to address the safety position, it’s going to be something that continues to hold them back. Harris would be a welcomed addition to the group going forward.
