There has always been a lot of comparison and debate for the top wide receivers in the NFL. A name that always comes to mind of the last decade is Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons and he’s pretty darn good. His size, speed, and athleticism just exceed almost any other wide receiver.

Jones is usually ranked in the top three of any NFL analyst wide receiver list. In 2019, it was a down year for Jones by his standards but would have been a career year for about 90% of the wide receivers in the NFL. His quarterback, Matt Ryan, always looks for Jones in almost any play and that won’t stop in 2020 by any means.

Over the past couple of years, a premier wide receiver has emerged for the Green Bay Packers and his name is Davante Adams. He is head and shoulders above any other skill position option for Aaron Rodgers.

Adams is renowned as the top route assassin in the NFL today. Especially with his first and second move off the snap of the football. Adams actually sent his film over to Chad Johnson, a known route technician, to look at. Johnson had nothing but praise for Adams and was supposedly “brought to tears” in amazement over the film he had received.

You’re getting two established veteran wideouts that have the film, the statistics, chemistry with their QBs, and the NFL recognition. These factors will help decide who has the better 2020 season.
