3. Frank Clark
Although Frank Clark has established himself as a solid pass-rushing option in Seattle, he is not on the same level as guys like Demarcus Lawrence and Jadeveon Clowney, who are both set to hit the open market this offseason.
He currently has ten sacks, which will inevitably drive his price up (assuming he doesn’t extend with Seattle). However, he will be affordable and a solid player the Raiders should take a strong look at. Clark will only be 26 heading into next season, meaning some of his best years are still ahead of him. His marks of 10 and nine sacks in 2016 and 2017 respectively show his consistency, something the Raiders lack from a pass-rushing perspective.
Pairing Clark with promising young defensive end Arden Key could be a stable building block for the team to add to. Considering they will have a top three draft pick that they will most likely use on a top-tier pass rusher, the Raiders defensive line could transform relatively quickly.
Clark is consistent and would be a reliable veteran addition to what will be a young Raiders defensive line in 2019.
