Chicago Bears – Adam Shaheen, Tight End

There is one name in particular that has been floated around as a potential trade candidate this offseason for the Chicago Bears. For the fans who don’t know, that would be tight end Adam Shaheen.

Chicago has had a very aggressive offseason at the tight end position. Following the Green Bay Packers’ decision to release veteran tight end Jimmy Graham, the Bears scooped him up. They also used a second-round pick on Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet.

It is obvious that Matt Nagy wanted some help at the position. Trey Burton was released earlier in the offseason and Chicago has to feel good about who they have brought in. Unfortunately, there is little to no role left for Shaheen.

They may choose to keep him on the roster, but there is a good chance that they would pull the trigger on a trade if one came up.
