Green Bay Packers – Jamaal Williams, Running Back

Another potential NFC North running back that could be moved prior to the regular season is Green Bay Packers’ fan favorite Jamaal Williams. Even though he has endeared himself to the fan base in Green Bay, Williams could be on the move.

Aaron Jones is the obvious starter for the Packers. Matt LaFleur unleashed him as a lethal threat on the ground and through the air last season. Then, the Packers shocked everyone by taking Boson College running back A.J. Dillon with their second-round pick.

Williams could end up being trade bait, as the Packers may not want to keep three running backs in their rotation. If he is available, he will intrigue quite a few teams. He racked up 460 yards and a touchdown on 107 carries in 2019 to go along with 39 receptions for 253 yards and five touchdowns.

Green Bay could carry three running backs into 2019, but if they look to move one, Williams would be the choice. If a team comes calling with a good offer, Brian Gutekunst might just pull the trigger.
