Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers took care of business in Week 1 against the division rival Minnesota Vikings. It was a game that truly showcased just how good this team is capable of being.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Packers looked elite. They put up 43 points and were only forced to punt once in the entire game. Work needs to be done in the red zone and punching the ball into the end zone, but fans should be very excited about what they saw.
Defensively, the Packers looked good at times, but gave up too many quick and easy drives. That must improve moving forward, but the talent is there.
The story of the game was obviously Rodgers. He completed 32 of his 44 pass attempts for 364 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. It was a vintage performance from the superstar quarterback and a point proven to the Packers and to the rest of the NFL.
