What To Expect From Aaron Rodgers In Week 2

Going up against the Vikings, Rodgers was able to pick apart the young secondary in Minnesota. They simply didn’t stand a chance. Unfortunately for the Lions, their secondary might be even worse than the Vikings.

While first-round rookie Jeff Okudah didn’t play in Week 1 against the Bears, the Lions have to be nervous about what they saw. They allowed Mitchell Trubisky to mount a major comeback in the fourth quarter. Rodgers is way better than what they faced against Chicago.

Here are three bold predictions for Aaron Rodgers against the Lions.

3. Once Again, Zero Turnovers

Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL at taking care of the football. He has never taken too many risks and has always put his offense in great positions to succeed. Just like in Week 1, Rodgers will not turn the football over a single time this week.

2. Another MVP-Caliber Performance

It’s way too early to begin discussing MVP candidates, but Rodgers certainly put on a show in Week 1 for the Packers. Against the Lions, it will be more of the same. Rodgers will end up throwing for 350 yards, three touchdowns, and of course, as mentioned, no interceptions.

1. Rodgers Easily Leads The Packers To 2-0

Behind another big-time performance from Rodgers, the Packers will move to 2-0 on the season. Despite a ton of outside noise and the media expecting a big step backward for Green Bay, Rodgers and company will prove them wrong. It will be another dominant win for the Packers.
