Jace Sternberger Breaks Out In His Debut As Starter

Another change the Packers made this offseason was releasing veteran tight end Jimmy Graham. He was not producing at the level the franchise needed and they are choosing to go in a different direction.

Jace Sternberger appears to be the new starter in town, although Robert Tonyan should also see time. However, Sternberger is going to be the breakout candidate this week.

While Sternberger isn’t going put up massive numbers, the Packers are going to love what they see from him.

When everything is said and done, Sternberger will catch six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. He will take hold of the starting job and won’t look back. Rodgers loves utilizing his tight ends and Sternberger will become a favorite target for him as the season moves along.
