Dont’a Hightower, Linebacker

One of the weaknesses that many are expecting to see for the Packers in 2020 is at the linebacker position. With the loss of Blake Martinez, Green Bay went out in free agency and signed Christian Kirksey.

Granted, Kirksey could end up being the fix of the issues if he can stay healthy. However, the Packers could still use more talent and depth at the position. Dont’a Hightower would be an excellent pickup for the Packers.

Last season with the Patriots, Hightower racked up 71 total tackles to go along with 5.5 sacks and four defended passes.

While he isn’t an elite star, Hightower is a quality football player. Mike Pettine loves hard-nosed linebackers, which is exactly what Hightower would bring to the field for the Packers.
