Packers: 3 early bold predictions for TE Jace Sternberger in 2020

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Packers Finally Have Their Long-Term Tight End

Finally, and most importantly, Jace Sternberger will prove that he is the long-term option at tight end that the Packers have been needing to find.

Sternberger is a big body at 6-foot-4 and just over 250 pounds. He runs great routes, has very good athleticism, and is without question a capable receiver. Add in the fact that he is just 23 years old and the future is bright.

Green Bay’s offense has tons of questions to answer, with tight end being among them. Sternberger will pass all of the tests with flying colors and will end up being a major steal from the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Packers may not have added a top-notch wide receiver, but they are going to have a major upgrade at tight end from what they received from Jimmy Graham over the last couple of years.
