If there is one player that Rashan Gary should focus on learning from, it is his teammate, Za’Darius Smith. Smith came on strong last season and is one of the most underrated defenders in the NFL. Gary is a very similar athletic ability and body type to Smith.

Heading into the 2020 NFL season, there is no question that Gary should be looking to learn everything he possibly can from Smith.

At 27 years old, Smith is in the prime of his career, but he has had quite a bit of experience in the league. Gary could use the wisdom he hears from Smith to impact how he works moving forward.

Gary and Smith are very similar players and the second-year talent needs to be all ears when it comes to working with Smith this year.
