Packers: 3 late trade targets ahead of the 2020 NFL season

In the eyes of fans and the media alike, the Green Bay Packers fell short of addressing the lack of weapons around Aaron Rodgers this offseason. While the Packers didn’t do much to improve the offense, with Devin Funchess opting out of the 2020 season, finding another wide receiver could be of paramount importance for Green Bay.

Besides Davante Adams, Green Bay lacks consistency and reliability at the wide receiver position. Although, the Packers believe — and for good reason —- Allen Lazard can be the No. 2 wide receiver in the offense. Lazard flashed some potential in the short sample size of games that he suited up in last season.

Despite advancing to the NFC Championship Game, it was evident that Green Bay was missing a piece or two on offense. Instead of aiding Rodgers in the passing game, the Packers settled with signing Funchess in free agency, and ignored the wide receiver position entirely in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Luckily for Green Bay, there’s still time to appease fans by acquiring a wide receiver via trade this offseason. In light of that, let’s take a look at a few trade targets the Packers could pursue ahead of the 2020 season.
