2. Equanimeous St. Brown
Equanimeous St. Brown was drafted in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. As a rookie, he finished with just 21 catches for 328 yards. He did not play in 2019 because of an ankle injury. Green Bay entered the offseason with a glaring need at wide receiver and they did not do much to improve the position.
St. Brown will have to step up in 2020. He is just as good as a free agent acquisition given he played just one year and was a non-factor. In 2020, he will have to be a factor. St. Brown has great potential that he has not even come close to cracking. Davante Adams is an elite receiver but after that, the Packers need help.
The Notre Dame product has a chance to thrive in Matt LaFleur’s offense. St. Brown has the ability to rack up yards after the catch and make difficult catches over the middle. St. Brown will compete for snaps with the likes of Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. In camp, it will be interesting to see how the Packers use St. Brown within their offense.
