1. Jace Sternberger

There is one major player that is an unknown and will have to play a huge role in 2020. That is Green Bay’s third-round pick out of Texas A&M. Jace Sternberger will dive into a starting role with Jimmy Graham now in Chicago.

Sternberger is a major breakout candidate in 2020. He is the team’s best pass catching option at tight end. The Packers also have veteran Marcedes Lewis and rookie Josiah Deguara on the roster. Sternberger missed the beginning of his rookie season with an injury and did not make much of an impact. He showed flashes during the postseason but is expected to take a major step in year two.

There is no preseason games this season. That means that Sternberger must make a good impression from the beginning of camp. If he succeeds as a receiving threat, this gives Rodgers another weapon to work with. We all know that is something he needs. Sternberger is the biggest player to watch during camp because he will play the biggest role and has a high ceiling during his sophomore campaign.
