Packers: 3 ways Jordan Love must improve to unlock his full potential

Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, there was one thing that draft analysts, as well as Packers fans, agreed that the Green Bay Packers needed, a wide receiver. With plenty available, it seemed like they had a good opportunity to select a quality receiver, but instead, made a move that many did not expect by trading up to take Jordan Love.

Love was one of the most divisive draft prospects in last years draft with Pro Football Focus having him as their 6th best QB prospect, while places like NBC Sports having him ranked a bit higher as their 3rd best QB prospect.

Love’s divisiveness comes from the fact that he makes plays that many can’t, and plays that many shouldn’t try. Love will often try fitting balls into windows that have no business being thrown into, and while he will often get burned on these throws, there are a handful of times in which Love can complete these throws.

While Love is a raw prospect at the QB position, he has immense potential. Love has a rocket for an arm that allows him to fit the ball into windows that only a few QBs can. Love also has some extremely good athleticism and body control that allows him to escape the pocket and make some great throws.

While all of these things are great, Love still has a ways to go in his development, but there are certain things that he will need to work on to reach his full potential
