Packers: 3 WRs Green Bay could target with Devin Funchess opting out in 2020

There has been a slew of players in the NFL that have chosen to opt-out for the 2020 season with COVID-19 being a major concern. Among the players that have decided to sit out for the upcoming season is Devin Funchess of the Green Bay Packers.

Earlier this offseason, Funchess signed a one-year, $2.5 million deal to join the Packers. To the dismay of fans in Green Bay, Funchess was the only wide receiver the team added during the offseason despite the lack of reliability at the position — outside of Davante Adams.

With Funchess opting out, Green Bay could look to add another wide receiver to the roster ahead of the regular season. Making a trade for someone like Kenny Stills would unquestionably be a perfect move for the Packers. But at this point in the offseason, it’s more likely that Green Bay would use free agency as the preferred means of replacing Funchess.

Luckily for Green Bay, there are a few notable free agents that are still available at wide receiver. In light of that, let’s take a look at three wide receivers the Packers could target to take Funchess’s roster spot for the 2020 season.
