The Green Bay Packers are coming off an NFC Championship Games appearance. While it was a successful season, Green Bay will have championship aspirations this year. However, they have to beat their rivals if they want to win a championship. The Vikings are their toughest competition in the NFC North.

The Vikings also are another championship contender in the landscape of the NFC. This Week 1 matchup will be an excellent start to a much anticipated 2020 season.

The Vikings are a tough matchup for Green Bay for a variety of reasons. For starters, they have a dominant defense. The addition of Yannick Ngakoue gives the Vikings pass rush a boost. The pair of Ngakoue and Hunter could be the best edge rush duo in the NFL next season. The Packers had some issues protecting Aaron Rodgers against the 49ers last season.

There is going to be a lot on the line for both teams. It could be one of the most intense football seasons of all time. There has been so much to overcome, and without a preseason it will be interesting to see how teams adjust. Will there be new wrinkles added into offenses, or more of the same because of a lack of prep time? This will be something to monitor this season.

The Packers vs. Vikings will be an incredible way to start the season. Two great teams, fierce rivals, will clash head to head in the first game of the season. After an offseason that felt like it would never end, the season is finally upon us.

With that being said, let’s take a look at four keys to victory for the Green Bay Packers in their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.
