Packers: 4 potential late offseason trade targets for Green Bay

The Green Bay Packers are far from a finished product heading into the 2020 season. This is a strange thing to say about a team that won their division with a 13-3 record a season ago.

The wide receiving depth in Green Bay is nonexistent. Davante Adams will return as the team’s No. 1 option but that is about it. The Packers will have to rely on a young group of tight ends since Jimmy Graham signed with the Chicago Bears. The Packers offensive line is strong and they are improved defensively.

The Packers will have plenty of competition in a deep NFC conference. For Green Bay, it begins with the Minnesota Vikings, who also have expectations that they could make a run deep into the playoffs. These two will match up Week 1 and it will be a measurement to see how they stack up. For the Packers to repeat as division champs, they will have to win tight games like they did a season ago.

There are plenty of players in free agency that could help the Packers. There are also players available via the trade. The Vikings recently made a blockbuster deal when they acquired Yannick Ngakoue from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With that, let’s take a look at four moves that the Packers could make prior to Week 1.
