Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers picked up a much-needed victory on Monday Night Football over the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field. That pushed their record to 6-8, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive in the process.

That is two wins in a row for Green Bay, who is finding some momentum as they need to win out the rest of the season to have any chance at making the playoffs. If they continue playing at the level in which they did against the Rams, they will certainly have a shot.

After the game, quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared some words about the team’s outlook. They are starting to gain some more confidence after these last two wins, which they will need as they face off against some stronger competition in the coming weeks.

Just as the case has been all season, Rodgers’ confidence isn’t wavering as he believes the team can still get the job done.

The Packers are catching the Miami Dolphins at a good time next week as Miami is currently riding a three-game losing streak. Their explosive passing offense has been out of sync the last few weeks as Tua Tagovailoa has struggled with accuracy. A big reason for that has been the lack of a running game to take the pressure off of him.

After that, it is two divisional matchups with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions, both at Lambeau Field. Minnesota may not have anything to play for by Week 17 other than playing spoiler and ending the Packers’ season. The Vikings have already clinched the NFC North title and one more win by the Eagles would secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC as well.

Week 18 against the Lions could be a monumental game as Detroit is on fire and pushing for a playoff spot. At 7-7, they are peaking at the right time, right on the heels of the Washington Commanders, who are in 7th place. There is a chance that the matchup is for the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.
