Green Bay Packers: 3 Bold Predictions for Davante Adams

The Green Bay Packers are notorious for churning out quality receivers. Davante Adams is no exception to that. However, the 2014 second round pick was not impactful early on in his career.

Adams posted a successful rookie campaign with 38 receptions for 446 receiving yards and three touchdowns. However, through his three seasons, Adams had 13 drops. That is hardly acceptable for the incredibly high standards that NFL fans desire.

Adams put it together in the second half of the 2016 season. He developed an undeniable chemistry with star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. When that happens, watch out. Adams finished the 2016 campaign with 75 receptions for 997 yards and 12 touchdowns.

2017 was no different. However, Adams battled concussions throughout the year, but only missed two games. The most notable nugget from the 2017 season is the fact that Adams maintained his success without Aaron Rodgers for a majority of the season. Adams’ successes landed him a four-year, $58 million contract this offseason from Green Bay.

Adams is looking to continue his success into 2018 and this time with Rodgers at quarterback. On the following pages are my bold predictions for Adams’ 2018 campaign.
