First Four Games

Week 1 @ Minnesota Vikings

No better way to kick of the new football season than pitting the top two teams in the NFC North together. Both these teams have playoff hopes after making impressive runs last year. With full capacity stadiums likely non-existent this year home field advantage matters less than it might in years past. Minnesota is dealing with more changes that need time to gel together.

Packers: 1-0

Week 2 vs. Detroit Lions

The Lions should show improvement from last year, but this is a team that has a long way to go. If Matthew Stafford plays like he did when healthy last year, this could turn into a shootout, but the Packers have a better all-around team right now.

Packers: 2-0

Week 3 @ New Orleans Saints

A Sunday night football matchup against the high-flying Saints should be must watch football. With two Hall of Fame bound quarterbacks leading the charge there will be a lot of offense. The Packers’ defense will not be able to produce any answers to slow Dree Brees down resulting in a high scoring loss.

Packers: 2-1

Week 4 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta has struggled with mediocrity since their Super Bowl run and this year they seem to be the epitome of a mediocre team. There are some great pieces in place, but too many holes will allow Rodgers to control the tempo of the game and come out victorious.

Packers: 3-1
