Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best players in the NFL since taking over the starting quarterback job for the Green Bay Packers. There was a ton of pressure on him coming behind Brett Favre, but he has blown all of the critics away and has become one of the top quarterbacks of all-time.

Even though some media members and fans believe Rodgers is on his way down, the star quarterback is performing at a high level. He is confident in his ability and still plans to play for at least a few more years.

Pro Football Focus shared a bit more about how dominant Rodgers has been throughout his career with the Packers. They named him the highest-graded quarterback in the playoffs over the past decade.

Last season with the Packers, Rodgers showed that he still has some great football left in him. He completed 62 percent of his pass attempts for 4,002 yards, 26 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Those numbers show just how good he still is capable of being.

At 36 years old, the writing may be on the wall for Rodgers with the Packers. They went out this offseason and traded up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.

For fans in Green Bay, this seems eerily similar to when the Packers drafted Rodgers to replace Brett Favre in the future. It’s hard for fans to think about, but Brian Gutekunst and company are preparing to stay competitive for years to come.

Rodgers will still be the franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future. He is still more than capable of powering the franchise to a Super Bowl if they build the right roster around him. Hopefully, the Packers will have another successful season in 2020.

It will be interesting to see how much longer Rodgers ends up playing. He is still playing at a high level and now he has a chip on his shoulder.

Expect to see Aaron Rodgers come out in 2020 looking to prove a point. With critics rising up once again, he will do everything in his power to silence them. The Packers should be expecting another big season from him.
