In terms of importance, this was the biggest win, but it wasn’t Aaron Rodgers’ best playoff performance. The Steelers at time had one of the NFL’s best defenses, but that didn’t bother Rodgers.
He opened up the scoring in the first quarter, hitting Jordy Nelson on a touchdown pass. Right before half, Rodgers hit Greg Jennings for another touchdown, giving the Packers a 21-3 lead.
The Steelers made a comeback, but Rodgers crushed any hope when he hit Greg Jennings on a perfectly thrown pass that put the Packers in field goal range.
He would be named the MVP of the game after throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns.
