Green Bay Packers: Studs and Duds from the First Preseason Game

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Dud: DB Quinten Rollins

Rollins can’t find a position to call home and fans use him as a “punching bag” on social media. His time in Green Bay has not been an easy one. He has been rightfully criticized for poor performance after poor performance. Thursday night against the Titans was no different.

The coaching staff has been trying to move Rollins around the defense. He has taken snaps at corner, “linebacker,” and safety. He has received a more than ample amount of opportunities to show his worth and to be quite frank, his time is running out.

The pressure on Rollins to perform at a high level is more pressing than ever with the influx of corner talent from this past off-season. In the past couple of seasons, Rollins was the talent. Now, he is just an athlete who ultimately has struggled to adjust his athletic skills to the NFL level.
