Green Bay Packers: Studs and Duds from the First Preseason Game

Packers Wire – USA Today

Stud: DL Montravius Adams

The 2017 third round pick wasn’t able to get on the field much in his rookie year. But, when he did, the flashes were there.

All reports out of the Packers camps have suggested that Adams could be in line for a good year in 2018. He has been one of the most studious and quicker learners on the team. His play on Thursday suggested nothing else.

It did not matter if Adams was facing the first-team offensive line or the second or third squads, Adams was making plays. Whether it was being quicker than the guy across him or just straight up overpowering him, the second-year pro was showing why he was being praised so highly.

If Adams can continue to develop and impress, this defensive line just got even deeper and scarier.
