2. Aaron Rodgers Needs A Legitimate Deep Threat
We already touched on the need for speed, but the Packers need a wide receiver who can make plays down the field. Adams is more of a possession wide receiver and no one else on the roster screams “deep threat” for Green Bay.
Josh Gordon has been an elite deep threat throughout his entire NFL career. His speed allows him to take the top off of opposing defenses. In addition to his speed, however, Gordon has an elite ability to adjust to the deep ball and make leaping catches over defenders.
His 6-foot-3 and 225-pound frame allows him to create mismatches against most defensive backs. Green Bay should have a high level of interest in a player with his skill-set. Gordon would provide the Packers with something that they have not had in a long time.
