Panthers: 3 reasons Carolina should run it back one more time with Cam Newton

Cam Newton may be the biggest star to ever wear a Carolina Panthers uniform. From his remarkable rookie campaign where he threw for over 4,000 yards, to his ridiculous 2015 MVP season where he took the league by storm, Super Cam has given Carolina a lifetime of memories on the football field.

Despite his super human persona, Newton has regressed in recent years and his health has come into serious question. He’s lost his last eight starts with the Panthers while also dealing with shoulder and foot issues.

This past season, Cam only suited up for two games before his season was over due to foot surgery.

It goes without saying that Newton has a lot to prove heading into 2020. This upcoming season will be a pivotal chapter in his career and likely be his last chance to prove he’s still got it.

With all that being said, Cam still deserves a shot to bounce back with the team that drafted him. If his health is right, there’s no question that he still has the talent to be an elite quarterback in the NFL.

Here are three huge reasons why the Panthers should run it back one more time with Newton in 2020.
