Can Christian McCaffrey Go Back-To-Back?

He is one of the most exciting players in the NFL to watch, and last year was one of the most successful. At a position which is typically viewed as volatile, McCaffrey seems to be one of the most sure-fire stars for a long time.

Last season, McCaffrey became only the third player in NFL history to record 1,000 rushing yards, and 1,000 receiving yards within a single season. On top of that, he racked up 2,392 yards from scrimmage, which topped the NFL last season, and places him third all-time in a single season.

He is shifty, strong, athletic, and a fantastic pass catcher. Kyle Allen, and coach Ron Rivera utilized their best weapon almost too much last year. Even though Carolina will likely turn to Christian to lead their offense again, 287 rushing attempts may be excessive.

If you’re not a Panthers fan, the main reason you will have watched this team last year, and this upcoming year is because of McCaffrey. If he can manage to total 1,000 rushing and receiving yards in a single season two years in a row, there is no reason to not crown him the unanimous best running back in football.

The team may not win, but the offense should be fun, and a big part of that will be credited to Christian McCaffrey.
