The New England Patriots should have two huge priorities this offseason — retain quarterback Tom Brady and surround him with as many weapons as possible.
It was clear that New England’s offense held the team back from reaching another Super Bowl last season. The Pats finished with the 15th overall offense, averaging just 354 yards per contest.
Once the Patriots finalize a new deal for Brady, their attention will shift promptly to finding new weapons for his arsenal.
They’ll likely add weapons through free agency as well as the draft. Acquiring speed will be their number one goal. Luckily for New England, a very familiar speedster is about to hit the open market.
Wideout Robby Anderson of the New York Jets would be a great option for the Pats this offseason.
