Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers
Next up, the biggest dream target for the Patriots on this list would be Packers’ superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. And, quite frankly, there is a very real chance that New England could trade for him at some point in the future.
While Green Bay seems unlikely to trade Rodgers this offseason, they did make a bold move by drafting Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. That could lead to a Rodgers trade in the next year or two.
Belichick and Rodgers would be a nearly unstoppable tandem, just like Brady was with Belichick. He would immediately take the Patriots back to the top of the Super Bowl contenders list.
Unlike the trade to acquire O.J. Howard, this would be a very expensive move. Rodgers won’t come cheap, but he would be well worth the price.
