Many believe that if the Patriots end up starting Stidham to begin the 2020 NFL season, he won’t end up finishing the year as the starter. That won’t end up being the case.
Granted, there are going to be some difficult moments throughout the season for the second-year quarterback. He isn’t going to come in and fill the shoes that Brady left immediately. Despite the struggles, he is going to show major signs of potential.
New England has been high on Stidham since they drafted him and they believe he can start at the NFL level. It appears that they are going to give him that opportunity this season and he will take full advantage of it.
