Cam Newton and the New England Patriots were able to take home a win in Week 1 over the Miami Dolphins by a final score of 21-11. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but a win is a win. In Week 2, the Patriots will face a much bigger test against the Seattle Seahawks.

After losing Tom Brady this offseason to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency, no one know exactly what to expect from the Patriots. Add in a wave of opt-outs due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus and things looked even worse for New England.

However, the signing of Newton helped calm things down a bit. In his debut with the Patriots, Newton proved New England right for taking a chance on him. He completed 15 of his 19 pass attempts for 155 yards, no touchdowns, and on interceptions.

While those numbers don’t look great from a passing perspective, it was his ability to make plays with his legs that stuck out. Newton racked up 75 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for Newton and the Patriots as they take on the Seahawks this week.
