The 2019 season saw the New England Patriots win their 11th consecutive AFC East title. It also saw them fail to reach the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 2010. The biggest noise during the offseason was made by a departure in New England, not a new addition.

New England lost half of their legendary head coach and quarterback duo when Tom Brady signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This left the Patriots with Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer preparing for a position battle during training camp. Of course, that was until New England signed Cam Newton to a one-year deal.

The NFL Draft is one area where Bill Belichick usually shines. He selected Kyle Dugger out of Division II Lenoir-Rhyne in the second round. Belichick also added two tight ends just 10 picks apart.

Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene will both be featured in the offense. The Patriots are an imperfect group heading into 2020, but they will still be one of the favorites to win the AFC East.

There is still some time left before the 2020 season and we all know Belichick is one for the dramatics. Here are four moves that are still possible before the Patriots take the field for their first game.
