Patriots QB Mac Jones Reveals Shocking Future Preference

Mac Jones, New England Patriots

Speculation is swirling around the future of New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones as reports from NFL Network suggest that the team could entertain the idea of trading him, especially in the wake of Bill Belichick’s departure.

“Even though Bill Belichick is gone, former first-round pick Mac Jones — who lost the starting role and ended up third string by the end of the 2023 season — is a trade candidate in the coming weeks and most likely will end up elsewhere for the 2024 season.”

Despite these rumors, Jones seems keen on staying put in New England. In a recent indication of his preference, Jones liked a tweet expressing support for him remaining with the Patriots.

Jones, a former first-round pick, has experienced both highs and lows in his career thus far. While a move elsewhere in 2024 wouldn’t be out of the question, it appears that Jones himself would rather stay with his current team.

The question then arises: where could Jones potentially land if a trade were to materialize? Speculation points to teams like the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Minnesota Vikings as potential destinations.

As the offseason unfolds, all eyes will be on Mac Jones and his future in the NFL. However, it seems clear that the Patriots are contemplating their options at quarterback and may be ready to explore other avenues.
