New York Jets: C.J. Mosley, Linebacker

Finally, the Patriots could beef up their defense by swiping star linebacker C.J. Mosley from the New York Jets. Mosley missed most of the 2019 season due to injuries, but is expected to come back strong in 2020.

Back in 2018 in 15 games with the Baltimore Ravens, Mosley ended up recording 105 total tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks, one interception, and five defended passes. In six seasons and 79 total games played, he has racked up 588 tackles, 8.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries, 10 interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, and 37 defended passes.

Adding that kind of an impact player to their defense would be huge for the Patriots. They had one of the top defenses in the league last year and adding Mosley would keep them in the upper echelon in the NFL.

Mosley is going to be a massive piece for the Jets in 2020 and the Patriots can only wish that they could scoop him up.
