Perfect fits for Washington QB Jacob Eason in the 2020 NFL Draft

Jacob Eason, NFL Draft

The clear best fit for Jacob Eason is on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This move would be great for all parties involved. Eason would get two years to learn under Tom Brady and Tampa would have an option after Brady leaves.

The Buccaneers have the capital to bring Eason in if he lasts until the third round. This pick for the Bucs would go against their apparent “win now” mentality, but preparing for the future is always a smart move.

Tampa Bay would get more value out of this pick than any other team with Bruce Arians and Tom Brady to train the very talented Eason. His natural talent mixed with training from Tom Brady could create one of the best future QBs in the league.

A great comparison for this move is what the Kansas City Chiefs did with Patrick Mahomes. By giving Mahomes some time to learn in a good system with a great head coach, the Chiefs were able to develop one of the best quarterbacks in the modern NFL. The Bucs could be that next team if they play their cards right.
