Perfect NFL fits for Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons in the NFL Draft

Isaiah Simmons is one of the most intriguing names in the 2020 NFL Draft. Due to the fact that he is a linebacker that could also play some safety and potentially drop into coverage with the skills of a cornerback, Simmons is going to be a top-10 pick. There doesn’t seem to be much doubt about that.

However, which team will end up taking him in the top-10 remains the big question.

Last season with Clemson, Simmons put up big numbers. He racked up 104 total tackles to go along with seven sacks, one forced fumble, three interceptions, and eight defended passes. Talk about a versatile defender.

Standing in at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Simmons has great size to play whatever position his NFL team wants him to play. Most will target him as a pass rusher, in other words an outside linebacker or an EDGE threat.

Now, let’s take a look at the three best potential fits for him in the 2020 NFL Draft.
