Philadelphia Eagles: 3 perfect free agency targets for the defense

The Philadelphia Eagles were able to fight to the end this season and ended up making the NFL playoffs. Knocking the Dallas Cowboys out was sweet enough, but the Eagles proved that they could compete even with a roster a that was extremely beat up.

Heading into the upcoming offseason, the Eagles could look to make some big moves in free agency. They need to improve their defense and there are quite a few options available this offseason that would make perfect sense for them.

If the Eagles want to get back to the Super Bowl, they can’t afford to stand pat this offseason. They have some pieces to build around defensively, but they need much more. Offensively, they simply need to stay healthy.

Carson Wentz got hurt again this year in the playoffs. Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson both missed a lot of time this season as well. Philadelphia has to feel good about their offense if the injury bug doesn’t bite them again.

All of that being said, here are three potential free agency targets for the Eagles on the defensive side of the football this offseason.
