Blake Martinez, Linebacker, Green Bay Packers
Finally, one of the most underrated players on the free agency market will be Packers’ linebacker Blake Martinez. He has received a ton of criticism because he isn’t the most athletic linebacker out there. However, he has always found ways to get the job done.
Green Bay is expected to move on from Martinez this offseason and will try to get more athletic at inside linebacker. They could still change their mind, but the Eagles should jump in and try to sign Martinez if they have the chance.
Martinez racked up 155 total tackles in 2019 to go along with three sacks, one forced fumble, an interception, and four defended passes. Those numbers show how productive Martinez was in Green Bay. Philadelphia needs inside linebacker help and this move would fix that issue.
