The Chicago Bears are heading into the 2020 NFL season as an unknown. After missing the playoffs in 2019 and being a top contender in the NFC in 2018, no one knows quite what to expect from the franchise. A lot of that has to do with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

Back in 2018, Trubisky appeared to be a legitimate long-term franchise quarterback for the Bears. Last season, however, he struggled mightily. Those struggles led to Chicago trading for Nick Foles.

Trubisky is at risk of losing his starting job to Foles. Many believe that it will end up happening when everything is said and done. Despite those beliefs, Trubisky has received a ton of support from head coach Matt Nagy and is ready to prove his doubters wrong.

During the 2019 season with the Bears, Trubisky ended up completing 63.2 percent of his pass attempts for 3,138 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He simply wasn’t consistent and couldn’t power the offense.

All of that being said, what should the Bears and their fans be expecting from Mitchell Trubisky in 2020? Let’s take a look at some predictions for him.
